What you do at home decides how long the result lasts. This is the short version, and ViAna will walk you through it in person.
- Do not wash, tie up, or clip your hair for the first 72 hours.
- Switch permanently to a sulfate free and sodium chloride free shampoo.
- Avoid salt water and chlorine. Both strip the treatment early.
- Expect three to five months of smoothing, longer with each repeat treatment.

No, and that is the point. A keratin treatment relaxes the curl pattern and eliminates frizz while leaving your natural movement intact. If you want genuinely straight hair, look at the hair straightening service instead.
Typically three to five months, depending on how often you wash and what products you use. Sulfates are the main culprit in cutting that short, which is why the shampoo switch is not optional.
Color should be done first, before the keratin, in that order. Whether both fit in one appointment depends on scope, so mention that you want both when you book so enough time is set aside.
