Extensions solve two different problems: length you are tired of waiting for, and density that thinned out and has not come back. The method matters enormously for which one you are solving and how your natural hair holds up over time.
Every extension service starts with a separate consultation. Hair has to be color matched and ordered ahead of the install appointment, so this is never a same day service. That extra step is what makes the difference between extensions that read as your own hair and extensions that read as extensions.

Aftercare & maintenance
What you do at home decides how long the result lasts. This is the short version, and ViAna will walk you through it in person.
- Brush with a loop brush from the ends upward, holding the root to reduce tension.
- Braid or loosely tie hair before sleeping to prevent matting at the bond.
- Keep conditioner off the bonds or tapes themselves.
- Book maintenance moves every 6 to 10 weeks depending on method.
- Never sleep on wet extensions.
Common questions
Properly installed and properly maintained extensions should not damage your hair. Damage almost always comes from bonds left in too long, poor brushing habits, or too much weight for the density of hair supporting it. All three are avoidable, which is why the aftercare lesson is part of the service.
The hair itself can last six to twelve months with good care. The install needs moving every six to ten weeks as your natural hair grows out, depending on which method you go with.
Because the hair has to be color matched and ordered before your install appointment. Booking the consultation early means the hair arrives in time for the date you actually want.
