FAQs
The Questions We Get Most
Booking, color, pricing, and what the studio is actually like. If yours is not here, just ask.
Booking & Appointments
Vibe Hair Studio is by appointment only. You can book online, call, or text and ViAna will get you scheduled. Texting is usually the fastest way to get a reply, since she is often with a client.
Two to three weeks ahead is a safe window for a standard cut or color. Longer services like balayage, extensions, and bridal work fill up faster and should be booked as early as you can, especially around holidays and wedding season.
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Because this is a single stylist studio, a late cancellation is a slot that cannot be filled and another client could have used. Repeated no shows may require a deposit to book future appointments.
Send a text as soon as you know. Short delays can usually be absorbed, but arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean the service has to be shortened or rescheduled so the following client is not pushed back.
Yes, and for big changes they are strongly encouraged. Consultations are a short, no pressure conversation about what you want, what your hair can handle, and what it will realistically cost and take. Color corrections and extensions require one before booking.
Yes, and children are welcome as clients too. The studio is quiet and private, which many parents find easier than a busy salon. If you are bringing a child along to your own appointment, just keep in mind that longer color services can be a lot of sitting for them.
Color & Chemical Services
It is not a dealbreaker, but you must mention it when you book. Box dye leaves behind metallic salts that can react unpredictably with professional lightener. Knowing about it upfront lets ViAna strand test and plan properly instead of discovering it mid service.
Sometimes, but often not safely. How many levels of lift your hair needs, and what condition it is in, decide the answer. Getting there across two or three sessions protects your hair and produces a better result than forcing it in one sitting.
Yes. Corrections always start with a consultation so the work can be scoped honestly. Depending on what happened, a correction can take one long session or several appointments spaced out over weeks.
If you have never had color before, or you have had a reaction to hair dye in the past, yes. A patch test is done at least 48 hours before your appointment. It takes a couple of minutes and is worth the trip.
Come with hair that is clean but not freshly washed. One or two days of natural oil actually protects your scalp during color. Avoid heavy product, dry shampoo buildup, and oils on the day.
Wash less often, wash cooler, and switch to sulfate free products. Sun and chlorine are the other two big culprits, which matters a lot in southern Utah. A gloss refresh around week six keeps the tone from going dull or brassy.
Pricing & Payment
Because hair length, density, and how much product a service takes genuinely change the time and cost involved. Waist length thick hair takes considerably more color and hours than a chin length bob. You get an exact quote at consultation before any work begins, so there are no surprises at the end.
Cash and major credit and debit cards are accepted. If you would like to pay another way, just ask ahead of your appointment.
Deposits are required for extensions, bridal bookings, and long color correction appointments, since those block out significant time. Deposits go toward the final cost of your service.
Tipping is always appreciated and never required. The best compliment is honestly rebooking and telling a friend.
The Studio & Location
Vibe Hair Studio is at 498 W Telegraph St, Washington, UT 84780, just minutes from St. George. There is plenty of parking and the studio is easy to find.
The studio operates by appointment only rather than fixed walk in hours, which keeps things calm and unhurried. Reach out with the days and times that work for you and ViAna will find a slot.
No. Every appointment is scheduled in advance so each client gets the full, unrushed attention their service needs. If you are hoping for something same day, text and ask, since cancellations do occasionally open up.
It is one stylist, one client at a time. There is no noise, no waiting area full of people, and no being handed off to an assistant halfway through. You work with ViAna from start to finish, every visit.
Professional grade color, treatment, and styling lines chosen for how they perform on real hair rather than for a brand name. ViAna will happily explain what she is using and why, and what is worth buying for home.
